betab valley
Betaab Valley is a scenic tourist destination in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, known for its lush meadows, snow-capped mountains, and pine and deodar forests. Located about 15 km from Pahalgam, it was named after the 1980s Bollywood movie "Betaab" which was filmed there, and is a popular stop on the Amarnath Yatra route. Visitors can enjoy sightseeing, trekking, camping, and picnics, with the best time to visit being from June to September.
Sinthan Top
Sinthan Top is a high-altitude mountain pass in the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas, located at an altitude of approximately 12,500 feet, bordering the Kishtwar and Anantnag districts in Jammu and Kashmir. It's accessible via the Anantnag-Kokernag-Sinthan-Kishtwar road and offers stunning views of snow-capped mountains and valleys, making it a popular destination for road trips and adventure activities like trekking, skiing, and horse riding. The best time to visit is from April to September due to heavy snowfall in winter.
Vaishno Devi
Vaishno Devi is a famous Hindu temple located on the Trikuta Mountains in Jammu and Kashmir, dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple is situated at an altitude of 5,200 feet and is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India. Vaishno Devi is considered a combined form of the goddesses Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati and is open year-round, although the weather is best between March and October.
Nishat Garden
Nishat Bagh is a Mughal garden in Srinagar, Kashmir, located on the eastern bank of Dal Lake and built in 1633 by Asif Khan. It is known as the "Garden of Joy" and is famous for its twelve terraced levels, which represent the twelve zodiac signs and feature a cascading water channel with fountains. The garden offers stunning views of the lake and the Zabarwan mountains, and is planted with Chinar and cypress trees and colorful flowers.
