Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress

Today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features a 180-meter-high rock peak with ruins of the palace on top, a mid-level terrace with the iconic Lion Gate and frescoes, and elaborate water and boulder gardens at the base.
